2 injured in Southampton crash

SOUTHAMPTON, Mass. (WGGB/WSHM) – Southampton emergency crews responded to a motor vehicle accident Thursday afternoon.

According to the Southampton Fire Department, around 4:55 p.m., firefighters were on scene for reports of an accident in the area of 68 Lead Mine Road with possible entrapment.

When crews arrived, it was discovered that a Sedan had hit some boulders in front of a driveway and was resting at the end of the driveway in a yard.

Officials confirmed the driver suffered a medical emergency, causing him to lose control and hit the two boulders.

Two of the people involved were transported to a local hospital with minor injuries.
