NEW DELHI: On the first day of the fourth Test in Melbourne, Virat Kohli and young Australian Sam Konstas we had a fight on thursday.
However, the 19-year-old home opener played down the incident, claiming that the Indian superstar bumped into him by accident.

As the players passed on after the conclusion of the tenth over of the Australian innings, the brief confrontation took place. As they crossed the field, Kohli and Constance collided.
Usman KhawajaKonstas’ teammate, stepped in to break up the tense exchange of words as both players quickly turned on each other. The two were also spoken to by the referees on the field.
After the stumps, Konstas told reporters that Kohli accidentally hit him.
“Virat Kohli hit me by mistake, that’s cricket and it can happen with tension,” the teenager said at the post-match press conference.
“I think the emotions got to us both. I didn’t really realize it, I was doing my gloves, then a little load on the shoulder, but it happens in cricket,” he added.

Konstas, who was batting 27 at the time, kept hitting Jasprit Bumrah for two boundaries and a six in the next over.
The teenager scored a stunning fifty on debut before Ravindra Jadeja caught his leg before the wicket.
