Anyone who has the task of cooking frozen burgers probably knows that the most difficult part of the dish is separating the hard patties from each other.

For Barry Griffiths, 57, the pregnancy turned deadly after he accidentally stabbed himself with a blade while trying to separate frozen meatballs.

Griffiths, a Welsh resident, had been trying to separate the frozen burgers with a knife when he stabbed himself in the stomach. Authorities said Griffiths had reduced mobility in one of his arms following a stroke, which likely led to the freak accident.

In Tennessee, a Halloween prank went horribly wrong when a 12-year-old boy tried to harmlessly scare other kids on a hayride.

right Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office (HCSO), a group of kids were behind some bushes trying to scare off some hay riders when one of the boys was unexpectedly hit by the tractor.

The boy, police said, likely slipped and fell under the wheels during the freak accident.

“Deputies were told one of the juveniles attempted to jump on the trailer and allegedly slipped and fell under the wheels and was found unresponsive.

Carolina Muñoz Kennedy, 40, a professional skydiver from Chile, was making the dive Boituva, Brazilin October 2024 when she ran into difficulties with her parachutes, according to news publication Diario AS.

Her main parachute malfunctioned and the reserve then opened with the lines twisted, according to Jam Press.

Video show the skydiver caught in a death spin and spins rapidly in the air before then appearing to control his parachute. But then it changes direction and crashes behind several trees.

The Federal Aviation Administration says there are about 30 to 40 skydiving deaths each year in the United States.

When Lucas Schwartz went outside to enjoy some fresh air, the playtime was interrupted when a tree fell on him, killing the 12-year-old instantly.

The Schwartz family of Lawrence Township, New Jersey, mourned the death of their son when he died in the freak accident in October.

Investigators determined Schwartz was playing with a friend in his yard when the tree was blown over by gusts of wind, hitting him and causing fatal injuries.

Police said they are actively investigating the incident.

A spokesman for the Logansport Police Department described the incident to Indianapolis. Fox 59 as a “freak accident”.

Police determined that a wire on a pool pump had been pinched, causing the protective cover to break. The exposed wire came into contact with the pool water and shocked the five swimmers, according to the station.

Bryce Canyon National Park ranger Tom Lorig died after tripping and falling during the June 7 Festival of Astronomy.

The National Park Service (NPS) said park ranger Tom Lorig, 78, was working with visitors at the annual Bryce Canyon Astronomy Festival in Utah in June when he fell and hit his head on a rock.

During the fall, he hit his head on a large rock. Authorities said he was found unresponsive.

The NPS said Lorig worked as a registered nurse in the Seattle area for 40 years. He also worked as a permanent, seasonal and volunteer security guard for more than 10 years.

The woman who died in a propeller crash in Derby has been identified by her family as 37-year-old Amanda Gallagher.

Amanda Gallagher was taking pictures when she retired to an airplane propeller in Kansas in October. Just before 3:00 p.m. that day, Sedgwick County dispatch received a report of a crash at Cook Airfield in Derby, KAKE News first reported.

When deputies arrived, they found Gallagher, who was seriously injured while taking photos of people getting on and off planes when she backed into an active plane propeller, media reported.

The woman was transported to the hospital extremely critical conditionKAKE reported, where he later succumbed to his injuries.

“Amanda Gallagher was gentle, adventurous, creative and beautiful inside and out. She was a loving daughter, sister, aunt and friend and will be greatly missed,” a statement on a GoFundMe page read.
