2 Arrested After South Fargo Home Burglary – InForum

FARGO – Two people were arrested Wednesday afternoon after a burglary was reported in south Fargo.

At 3:42 p.m., the Fargo Police Department was dispatched to a burglary in progress at a home in the 900 block of University Drive South, according to police.

When officers arrived, they found Amanda Henley, 43, no fixed address, and James Dumont, 43, no fixed address, in a vacant home.

Police asked Dumont and Henley to leave, but they refused to comply. Officers then contacted the homeowner to remove Dumont and Henley from the home, police said. The police entered the house and detained the two. Henley was arrested for criminal mischief and two outstanding warrants for resisting police and failure to appear in court for possession of marijuana. Dumont was arrested for criminal mischief and an active warrant for possession of drug paraphernalia.

The incident remains under investigation and no further information will be released at this time, police said.
