UP Politics: SP leader questions administration over death of Ram Chandra Maurya in police custody

SP leader Udayveer Singh raised serious questions over Ram Chandra Maurya’s death in police custody, demanding accountability. He stated, “Who is responsible if Maurya died in the police station? The police threatened people! There is no sympathy for the family of the deceased and they are intimidated. Where is the chief minister? Where is his government? Singh criticized the administration, accusing it of being heartless. He also said that this government cannot be considered a people’s government, echoing the sentiment of SP chief Akhilesh Yadav, who frequently criticizes the ruling government. Maurya’s death has sparked alarms about police brutality and lack of accountability on the part of the state government.
