Bradford Nursery said to improve the quality of education

“Although the outcome of the inspection was disappointing, we have already implemented actions in the areas identified for improvement and we are seeing progress,” Ms Gordon said.

“We were delighted that the inspector also noted many of our positive aspects.

“We look forward to our re-inspection over the next 12 months and remain committed to our continued development.”

The report says children are generally happy and well-behaved, but “the organization of daily routines in the toddler room is not well planned”.

Inspectors said “children are expected to wait far too long at lunchtime, which causes them to become angry and frustrated”.

Ofsted said the nursery needed to implement the curriculum more effectively and focus on stronger supervision of staff to improve its rating at its next inspection.
