Five possible outcomes for the Drew McIntyre vs. Sami Zayn Showdown on WWE Raw tonight

Before tonight’s show Monday Night RawGeneral Manager Adam Pearce made the announcement that Drew McIntyre and Sami Zayn will be clashing again following developments from last week’s episode.

The feud between the two stars reignited when McIntyre attacked Zayn on his return last month and vowed to take down every member of the OG bloodline. McIntyre successfully defeated Zayn in their match on the December 14 edition of Saturday Night’s Main Event and capped off the victory with another victory on the December 16 episode of The Red Brand.

On last week’s episode, McIntyre took on Seth Rollins where Rollins won the match, but Drew soon launched an attack. Sami rushed to Rollins’ aid and attacked McIntyre, following the Brawl, both stars requested a clash, the request was honored by Pearce as the two would clash tonight in Atlanta.

Ahead of their clash tonight, let’s take a look at five possible outcomes for the clash between the two stars.

5. Karrion Kross interferes

Final Testament frontman Karrion Kross has been feuding with Sami Zayn of late. Kross openly criticized Zayn and was also lurking in the background during the backstage segment between Zayn and Seth Rollins.

Kross also reacted to the announcement of the match between Zayn and McIntyre, stating that the matchup is a “cosmic experiment”. Karrion has hinted at a feud against Sami since their interaction backstage at the 01/13 show involving Miz And tonight he might decide to act on it and attack Zayn during the match.

4. Roman Reigns appears to be helping Sami Uso

“OTC” Roman Reigns ordered Paul Heyman to hold his recognition ceremony on the January 27 episode of Monday Night Raw. Reigns not only defeated Sikoa solo in the debut episode, but also regained Ula Fala.

Zayn He would also like to record this first singles win against McIntyre and prove himself. Sami has enough experience as he has fought McIntyre multiple times to come up with a good game plan to win the showdown and break his undefeated streak.

In the closing moments of the show last week, Zayn accidentally took out Rollins with the Helluva Kick. While Rollins considered Zayn a friend, the attack last week and his issues with Sami repeatedly helping Roman Reigns could make him rethink their friendship.

Rollins also has his fair share of issues with McIntyre and may decide to help Zayn get his first win against the Scottish Pyscopat tonight. The Visionary could shock everyone and turn him heel by attacking both Zayn and McIntyre.
