Police are searching for a man injured in a dog attack in Longton

Drones are searching for one of two dogs that attacked a man on the street.

The victim, who was attacked by both animals on Lennox Road in Longton just before 0900 GMT, was taken to hospital with injuries to his arms and hands, which are not believed to be serious, Staffordshire Police said.

Armed officers seized one dog, but a search is underway for the second, believed to be a black bulldog that ran from the scene.

Anyone who sees the animal is advised not to approach it and report sightings to the force.
