The former Broward pediatric assistant receives 10 years after he was guilty of an attempt to delight the child

Fort Lauderdale, Fla. – A former assistant of the Children’s Hospital is ready to become federal prisoners, after a judge sentenced him to spend a decade behind bars following a guilt for two attempts to delight children.

Rami Rotlewicz, thirty -five, who worked at Joe Dimaggio Children’s Hospital in Hollywood, before his arrest, he learned his fate at Federal Court Fort Lauderdale on Friday.

Federal agents custody Rotlewicz, then 34, in June following a raid at his plantation house the previous month.

Prosecutors claimed that Rotlewicz started communicating online with undercover agents that posed as mothers – seeking to sexually abuse their daughters – in 2023.

They said he first discussed online with an agent posing as the adoptive mother of an 11 -year -old girl, then with an investigator posing as the girl herself and discussed the two to Fort Lauderdale.

The authorities said he then discussed with a third investigator posing as Miami’s adoptive mother of a 12 -year -old girl.

They said that Rotlewicz and the investigator had planned a meeting on May 2, but he rescheduled. Six days later, the authorities attacked their house at 501 NW 108th Ave.

The authorities said he gave up his rights Miranda and “admitted to communicate” with undercover investigators. According to the complaint, he “described the law enforcement as a living imagination” and said that the chats are “fantasy”.

The judicial documents declared a search for Rotlewicz’s mobile phone revealed 219 images and 85 videos depicting boys and girls being raped or abused.

However, federal pornography accusations for children have been abandoned as part of his plea agreement.

Following his arrest last summer, a spokesman for Joe Dimaggio called the “deeply disturbing” accusations, but said that “there is no evidence to suggest that illegal activities have been held.”

According to the conviction documents, Rotlewicz was guilty of two charges of attempting to constraint and encourage a minor and will serve 10 years in each concomitant issue.

Once I leave prison, he will spend another decade for the supervised release. He will be obliged to register as a sexual offender, undergo treatment and restricted to contact minors, use a computer or have pornography of any kind.

These documents claim that it will be placed in an installation at the Federal Correction Complex, Coleman, in Sumter County.

Starting Monday, he was held in the Paul Rein detention facility of the Broward Sheriff in Pompano Beach, BSO recordings show.
