London (DPA -AFX) -before the action summit you hosted by France next month, the first independent international report on artificial intelligence was published.

The “Independent Safety Report of International”, published on Wednesday, establishes the first comprehensive scientific understanding, common for advanced systems and their risks.

The report of Academic awarded by Yoshua Bengio, an Acamic Turing award and the most cited computer scientist, the report brings information from 100 independent international experts. The report is mandated by more than 30 countries, including France, China and the United States, with operational support offered by the Department for Science, Innovation and Technology.

As decision makers around the world, they are facing rapid and unpredictable progress in AI, today’s report contributes to reducing the gap, offering a scientific understanding of emerging risks to guide decisions.

The report also highlights how quickly technology has evolved in recent years and months, including how AI systems are more and more capable of acting as AI agents – planning autonomously and performing complex tasks.

Its publication seems to connect the gaps by creating a scientific basis for evidence to support the decision -making factors AI safety, while the complete implications of the advanced AI systems are still discovered.

The key domains identified for further research include how quickly the capabilities will advance, the way in which the general -aimed AI models work and how they can be designed to behave reliably.
