In a major discovery, the Special Working Group (STF) of the ASSAM Police gave again a significant blow to the anti-national elements within the Pragsed operation, which aims to dismantle the fundamentalist networks and global terrorist organizations from all over the country.

The Police of STF Assam and Kokragehar, acting after accurate information contributions, launched a quick and strategic operation, successfully catching a key operator, Nasim Uddin SK, from Kokragehar district in the early February 3 hours.

Offering details, Rajib Saikia, CPRO from Assam Police, said: “The arrested individual was identified as an active member of the team of Ansarlah Bangla (ABT) and Jamaat-Mujahideen (JAM). He was a close associate of the first accused accused Nur Islam Mandal, who was previously arrested for his involvement in extremist activities in the same case by the STF in Kokjhar. “

Officials said that the accused stole the law enforcement and that he had abandoned since the night of December 17, 2024.

CPRA further added: “The investigations revealed that the arrested operator was a key conspirator, working closely with the mandal Nur Islam in the purchase of weapons and the manufacture of IEDs intended to be weapons and to empower extremist factions. Their objective was clear to destabilize national security, to disturb peace and represent a serious threat to the sovereignty of India.

The person was arrested in relation to the case of STF PS no. 21/2024 in sections 61 (2)/147/148/149 of the CPI, r/w sections 10/16/11/18b/20 of illegal activities (prevention) ACT, 1967, R/W section 12 (1 ) the letter (a) of the passport law, 1967; SECTION 38/39 of the UA Law (P), sections 4/5 of the explosive law, sections 25/27 of the Law on weapons and sections 13/14 of the Law of foreigners was added.

He was produced before the court where he was sent to police custody for seven days. The investigation is being exposed to the entire terror network, which has deep connections over the border.
