3 Arrested in connection with the suspicion of the burglary at “Strip Club”, says the Sheriff’s Office

Atacsa County, Texas – Three people were arrested about a theft suspect at a striptease club near Poteet, shortly after the club was attacked by the authorities and closes.

On Monday night, a deputy passing by the cabaret of the closed pink monkey noticed a car in the parking lot and saw people inside the business, according to Eric Kaiser, the head of the Sheriff of Atacsa County.

“He was a gentleman who went through documents in the office and there were two other gentlemen trying to enter the ATM,” Kaiser said.

The deputy, along with others who arrived as a reserve, entered the business and arrested a man on the spot, Kaiser said. They also stopped a car in the area and took a second burglary suspect in arrest.

Kaiser said they had arrested a woman in the car who had mandates unrelated. Another suspect in burglary escaped, he said.

Mario de Leon, 47 years old; Angel Martinez, 39 years old; And Cyrena Gonzalez, 38, were arrested on Monday.

Club attacked by authorities

The arrests of Monday come to the way of four other people who were taken under arrest on Sunday night under charges related to the club management.

Pink Monkey Cabaret, located on State Highway 16, right north of Poteet, was attacked for illegal operation, according to investigators of the sheriff’s office.

The deputies of Atacsa County Sheriff, together with the members of the Marshal County Office of Atacsa, attacked the business, described as “the high operation of the heel”.

“When we made a few checks, I learned that they never asked for a permit or tried to comply with our sexually oriented business ordinance,” Kaiser said.

In addition, Kaiser said that the building has several violations of the code: without running water, workshops or emergency fire exits.

An Ordinance of Atacosa county dictates that sexually oriented companies of this type are limited to areas at least 2,000 meters away from residential areas, schools, parks and places of worship.

The bright pink building that lives the club, which opened less than two weeks ago, is located at the corner of houses and even over the highway from a Baptist church.

Kaiser said his department has launched an investigation on the club after receiving calls from neighbors.

Morgan Gee, 30 years old; Martina Compian, 32 years old; Mary Ann Sanchez, 43 years old; And Michael Cardona, 43, all face the taxes related to the operation of a sexually oriented business.

Gee is experiencing an additional accusation of possession of a controlled substance, and Cardona is also accused of possession of marijuana.
