Suspects in AFM drug robbery to be judged today

The police are expected to notify people related to the 200 kg drug robbery that took place at the SAFI barracks of AFM.

Maltatoday is informed that the suspects will be notified around 1:00 pm.

During a press conference, police commissioner Angelo Gafà said that at 1:00, on Tuesday, a police operation was launched and led to several people, who are Maltese nationals.

Several people were arrested throughout the day in Marsa and Qormi, while 85 kg of 200 kg of stolen cannabis resin were recovered.

Requested more details about those who are kept in police custody, the police commissioner said some are known by the police.
