Authorities Identify the Killed Adolescence in Black Hawk County Accident

Black Hawk County, Iowa (KCG)-Sheriff’s Biro in Black Hawk Identified on the 14-year-old who died in An accident Tuesday Like Kelli Schmitz, from Jesup.

A Jeep Cherokee and a Sunfire Pontiac collided around 7:13 in the 8000 block of Poyner Road.

The jeep driver managed to get out of the vehicle before becoming fully filled with flames. She was taken to the hospital with wounds that do not endanger life.

Schmitz was caught in the Pontiac sunfire when the first respondents arrived. She was taken to the hospital where she died later.

The cause of the accident remains in progress.
