According to the club, the 28 -year -old Spaniard is still with a muscular injury in the left thigh. Vallejo has already missed more games this season for various reasons, sometimes because of a blow, sometimes due to an injury, sometimes because of the decision of a coach, which meant to have been looking for a new club in the last winter transfer window. But Vallejo decided to play the last six months of his contract with Real Madrid, instead of reaching a financial agreement with the club.

Signed by Blancos in the summer of 2015, Vallejo made only 32, largely short, real appearances, even after various loans offers – only one of them in the current season.
