Lewiston man accused of killing vehicle arising from old spokes …

Terry R. Cosner was accused of killing the vehicle for driving under the influence of methamphetamine that contributed to Leanne M. Wyatt’s death, from Reubens.

The 56-year-old Lewiston man was also accused of Dui aggravated for causing wounds to Jacqueline A. Blake-Culton, leaving the road and rolling on a hill.

The maximum punishment for both charges is 15 years in prison, as well as a fine of $ 15,000 for the charge of murder and a fine of $ 5,000 for aggravated DUI, according to judicial documents.

Cosner also faces an improvement in the persistent condemnation of the violation, which increases the maximum punishment in life in prison. Cosner was convicted of three crimes, a 2002 detention of a controlled substance in NEZ Rece county; 1996 holding a program 1, 2, 3, 4, drugs in the fifth degree in Scott County, Minnesota; and since 1994 the possession of a controlled substance in Nez Rece County.

The office of the sheriff in Nez Perce County was notified of a fatal accident on January 6 on the old spiral highway above Big Sky Lane. The deputies arrived on stage and found a 1998 Toyota Black 4runner, which was 75 meters on a terrace on its side. The vehicle seemed to hit a rock, which caused it to walk in the air and hit a creek bed, then roll with the passenger side in the stream bed. The passenger’s side door could not be open, according to the probable statement.

Cosner and Blake-Culton were taken to the Regional Medical Center St. Joseph. A deceased woman was identified as a blake-culton wyatt. She also told the law enforcement that she was wearing the seat belt and Wyatt was above her. She stated that there was methamphetamine in the vehicle, according to the probability.

When investigators responded to the hospital, Cosner asked to have a lawyer. Blake-Culton said they went to Kootenai Health in Coeur d’Alene, because Wyatt’s son died of cancer and traveling back. They stopped in Moscow for food and Blake-Culton claimed that Cosner was leading them back to Lewiston. She was sleeping when the accident took place. Also, Blake-Celon also told law enforcement that neither she nor Cosner drink, which the investigator thought it was strange for her to bring him on his own, according to the statement.

From the collapse of the car, Blake-Cton suffered bruises and black eyes while Cosner had chest, knees and neck. The deputies noted that Cosner fell asleep during the interview and had to be awakened several times, according to the statement.

Investigators received a search warrant on Monday for Cosner’s medical documents, which would have shown that it has a significant amount of methamphetamine in his system, according to the statement. Cosner was arrested on Tuesday for the charges of crime, as well as an arrest warrant of the crimes that was communicated to the prison in Nez Perce county, according to the statement.
