The Beawar district of Rajasthan is at the edge. Masuda, a small town with about a Lakh resident, was destroyed by the accusations of targeted sexual exploitation and school conversion missile, according to reports. Three threads were registered against 11 people, including three minors, after complaints of family members of five survivors, according to a report by the PTI News Agency.

The relatives of the girls claimed that the accused contacted the girls through social networks, offered them Chinese mobile phones and sexually exploited them, according to the PTI.

He quoted police officials saying that some survivors have also accused men of trying to convert them by blackmailing them.

Of the 11 detainees, three are minors.

A former councilor of the section, Hakim Qureshi, was also arrested for his alleged involvement in this case, according to Masuda DSP Sajjan Singh. A court in Kotda gave the police for five days.

Four of the accused – Luqman, Sohail Mansori, Ryan Mohammad and Afraz – were sent on Sunday in judicial custody, after five days of police withholding.

The communal angle in the case of sexual exploitation, according to several reports, made the situation tense in the Beawar district. All accusations belong to a particular community, while girls are from a different community.

One of the survivors told a TV channel that the boys were blackmailed using some intimate photos. She said that 14-15 boys were part of the sex rocket, and five girls in her class were among the survivors. She added that there could be other girls who were targeted.

The markets have been closed in several areas of the Beawar district, including Masuda, Bijainagar, Kekdi and Sarwad, while several organizations have released meetings that demand a strict penalty for accused.

DSP Singh told The Indian Express that so far no incriminating photos of survivors have been found on the accused’s phones. The confiscated devices were sent to the State Criminal Sciences Laboratory for inspection. The police still received medical reports of the survivors.

The first thread was deposited on February 16, based on two families complaints, while three other families came with similar charges later.

On February 18, the former chief minister of Rajasthan, Ashok Gehlot, went to the BJP government for women’s safety, referring to cases in Beawar and Tonk, where the girls were assumed to be raped by the band.

“Girls will not leave the houses because of insecurity under the rule of BJP?” Gehlot said in a post on X.

The government is under pressure, and the police will not yet gather any material evidence, even if the accusations of sexual exploitation, blackmail and auction to convert have put on the mask and other nearby areas of Beawar, with the stopping of the market and rallies that seek justice.
