An anti -terrorist court (ATC) extended the physical re -examination of the Mustafa Amir crime case on Thursday, accused, Armaghan Quresi and Shiraz for five days, while ordering the medical exam.

The court rejected Armagan’s statement that the police refused access to a toilet for ten days, noting, “If this was the case, you wouldn’t stay here.”

During the hearing, the court allowed the accused to meet his family and lawyers in the presence of police and court officials. The legal representatives of the accused, including Abid Zaman, Tahir-Rehman and lawyer Sara Asim, submitted their power of attorney.

Armaghan pleaded before the court, claiming that he was tortured in police custody and asked not to be handed over for the subsequent interrogation.

However, the criminal prosecution insisted that an additional re -examination was required, because the police followed a girl named Zuma, whose statement and DNA analysis were pending.

The background of the case

Mustafa Amir, a defense resident, was reported missing on January 6. His mother filed the report of a missing person the next day. On January 25, she received a redemption call from an American number requesting 20 million lei, leading the authorities to add rape fees for redemption in case.

Following Shiraz’s confession, the police recovered Mustafa’s burnt vehicle from Hub. The carbonized remains, previously taken over by the local authorities and buried by a social assistance organization, were identified by Testing the DNA.

Meanwhile, investigators continue the efforts to recover Mustafa’s mobile phone, determine additional details about the alleged 12 -year -old girl involvement and locate the crime weapon. The police also requested the permission of the court to exhumat Mustafa’s body to perform a post-mortem exam.
