Theft suspects targeting the companies owned by Asians and Indians in Pitkin County

Grand Junction, there. (KJCT) -a burglary in Glenwood Springs could be part of a series of racially targeted robberies in Pitkin, according to the Glenwood Springs Police Department.

On February 22, Glenwood Springs police were called to a home in the Park Drive area of Glenwood. The burglary happened between 12:30 and 20:00.

Glenwood PD suspects the same people who broke the house also targets Asian and Indian enterprises along the I-70 corridor in Pitkin County.

Suspects steal large amounts of cash, jewelry, clothing and bags, according to GSPD.

The Glenwood police are asking anyone with information to call 970-384-6500, to call 911 or to call the non-urgent line at 970-625-8095.
