Father killed after stepping on the explosive device on his own farm

Horacio Lopez Pena and his wife Ninfa Griselda Ortega, two of the friends Antonio Céspeds Saldierna, were also inside the truck at that time.

Tamaulipas state police said that Pena also died in the explosion. Ortega survived, but was injured.
