Fraud analyst, originally from Jamaican, who helps victims recover lost funds in the USA

Kingston, Jamaica – as fraudulent activities grow, fraud analyst and investigator Naujae Lee helped victim scores to recover the funds stolen through the fraud consulting firm.

With over six years of experience in developing and implementing fraud prevention strategies, Lee has helped institutions in the United States save more than $ 2 million. Her efforts led to a 25 % reduction in fraudulent transactions, a 15 % impulse in customer satisfaction and pursuit of fraud that led to the recovery of $ 250,000.

“Everything is limited to investigations, indeed. There are times when you discourage. There are times when, although you help customers, they do not want to help you because they are afraid of a fraudulent or are embarrassed. But, you have to have persistence and that’s what I do. Recovery is not a guarantee and that is why you should be in a preventive state and, therefore, I try to prevent rather than recover, ”Lee told Observer online.

Lee’s passion for fighting fraud started with a role he took to American Express as a dispute/fraud analyst in 2018. After three years with the company, he decided to continue. The fraud analyst subsequently provided a position of senior analyst and investigator for the Tennessee Credit Union. Currently, it contracts for different financial institutions while they carry out its private company.

The Alumna of Mona High School has gained tertiary education at Broward College in Florida and is currently studying fraud and financial crime at the Uttic University of New York.

The professional noted a disturbing connection between dancehall music and fraudulent behavior.

“Honestly, the lifestyle” Mech “… You are no longer cool to be well dressed or to dance or sing, what was the” cool boys “for us when we were growing. We are at a time when scams are cool children. There is no shame in it. It’s not something you should hide, ”she said.

While Lee works first and foremost independently at her company, she occasionally contracts the service of two other extra persons to help divide the information together, where necessary.

She is specialized in business.

“I present their problems. I focus on how easy it could be for scams to infiltrate their systems based on the software I have and which arouses a conversation. Then, the conversation becomes: “What will you do now to protect your customers?” She said, mentioning that business owners do not always want to invest in adequate security measures to combat criminals.

Meanwhile, she encourages the public to take action to protect against these attempts.

“As an individual, you have to be hypersensitive to E -emails, to certain companies with which you do business; Do not save your cards to any kind of web sites and I would always say if something feels it is not wrong, you simply do not, ”she said.
