The court heard five days before the exhibition opens at the Oxfordshire Palace, Jones visited it with his partner, Carly Jones, about what he described the criminal prosecution as the first of the two recognition visits.

The thieves led by locked, wooden gates, on the land of the palace, before entering through a window.

Within a few days after the attack, two men used the “car” as codWord for stolen gold, and the contact was made with a hatton garden jewelry.

It is assumed that Doe and Guccuk agreed to help one of the men who made the burglary, an defendant named James Sheen, sell some of the gold in the following weeks.

He said: “Four of them were examined in detail, the results indicating the presence of 18 carat gold that did not distinguish from the gold from which America was made of gold toilet.
