Petroleum earnings while Trump revokes Chevron’s Venezuela license

Finanznachrichten news

Washington (DPA -AFX) – Petroleum prices were traded more on Thursday, against the background of offer problems, after the US decided to revoke the Chevron Corporation oil giant to operate in Venezuela.

Benchmark Brent Brent Futures increased by 0.6 percent, to $ 72.51 in European trade, while the gross future WTI increased by half a percent dollars, after losing almost 3 percent of the previous two sessions.

On Wednesday, US President Donald Trump said he has revoked a Chevron Corporation license by the Joe Biden administration in exchange for the release of retained Americans and a promise of Nicolas Maduro, Venezuela President, to allow correct elections.

“By the presence, we reverse the concessions that Crooked Joe Biden offered to Nicolas Maduro,” Trump wrote on his social platform.

He accused Maduro of failing to fulfill his promises as promised for an American sent.

With the revoked license, Chevron will no longer be allowed to export Venezuelan gross.
