Dutete’s common right wife is facing assault shelves

Manila, Philippines – The legal battle around the former President Rodrigo Durte has expanded, as a partner, Honeylet Avanceña, is now facing potential assault charges for hitting a police officer on a mobile phone during a Villamor air base. The confrontation broke out as authorities prepared to fly durable to The Hague, the Netherlands, following the issuance of an arrest warrant of the International Criminal Court (ICC).

“The officer who suffered a head injury will submit a direct attack case,” Fajardo said during a briefing media on Thursday. However, she mentioned that the moment of the case remained uncertain, as the officer was recently discharged from an unrelated hospital.

The tensions broke out while the police moved to take the Duterte in arrest and escort it in a rented flight in Europe. Avanceña and their daughter, Veronica, were at the Villamor air base when the situation escalated.

“We have video evidence to indicate Miss Honeylet, hitting one of our female officers, who was pregnant to keep the area clear,” Fajardo revealed. “The officer suffered a swollen head and required medical care.”
