The Orlando Police Department is investigating a shooting in downtown Orlando.

In a post at 2:17 a.m. on X, Orlando police confirmed they were investigating a shooting downtown, where hundreds were believed to be celebrating Halloween.

“We are still gathering information and interviewing witnesses,” police said.

No other details were immediately available. It’s unclear if anyone was injured or killed in the shooting or if police were looking for suspects.

FOX 35 cameras looking at parts of downtown captured a large police presence near Wall Street. Several police officers were seen walking up and down the street as well as several patrol vehicles.
