The 21 -year -old, injured in accidental fire in J & K

A 21 -year -old woman was seriously injured by firearms at her Jammu residence and Kashmir’s Rajuri district on Sunday, officials said.

Shivani, Girdari Lal’s daughter, faced a 12 hole authorized weapon at her Sunderbani residence when she left, causing injury to her, they said.

Officials said the woman received first aid at local level and subsequently referred to the hospital of the Government Medical College, Jammu, for specialized treatment.

The police have registered a case and a better investigation, officials said, adding that it was premature to say if the weapon was accidentally coming out or the victim tried to commit suicide.
