Authorities are arresting separated jackets in Henry, Knox counties

Henry Co./knox Co., Ill. (KWQC) – The Sheriff’s office in Knox County and the Kewanee Police Department have made jackets that happened last week.

On February 20, the Sheriff’s office in Knox County was kept up to date at a driving ATM in Abington.

According to deputies, a fake key has been used to open the ATM and corrupt settings to withdraw a large amount of money.

The deputies said that investigators have obtained surveillance videos and other information that connects Marol Aguiar Rodriquez, 20 years old, and Leandro Magdiel Bordones Villegas, 26, at several ATM robberies in Illinois and in other US states. .

On February 22, the information gathered led detectives in Havana, where Rodriquez and Villegas were arrested, deputies said.

Rodriquez and Villegas are accused of burglary at a building and criminal damage of the property of 500 – 10,000 USD, conspiracy to commit criminal damages and theft of 10,000 – 100,000 USD.

The office of the sheriff in Knox County was assisted by the Springfield Police Department, the FBI Peoria Office, the Muhammad Police Department, the Avon Police Department, the Sheriff’s Office of Fulton County, the Sheriff from Mason county, the Havana Police Department, the Woodford and the Sheriff’s Office of the County of Woodford County county.

The sheriff’s office says that the investigation is still in progress with other potential suspects for similar criminal activities.

Around 9:15 pm, on February 22, the Kewanee police responded to an Alarm at the ATM at Union Federal Savings and Loan at 104 N. Tremont St.

The police said he had gathered information from a witness who led to the identification of the vehicle involved.

With the help of the Sheriff’s office in Henry County, Yanis J. Garrido-Diaz, 31 years old and Enyerbe O. Rivera Chavez, 23 were identified, located and taken under arrest.

Police said Garrido-Diaz and Chavez are accused of theft, a 2nd class offense and detention of burglary tools, a 4th grade FEL. Garrido-Diaz has an additional valid driving license charges, a class A.

Garrido-Diaz and Chavez were transported to the Henry County prison, the police said.
