I wanted to leave, but they asked for Rs 3 Lakh. Coming from a poor family, I had nothing but continue. Finally, I could leave on June 26, 2024 and I have landed in Mumbai, ”he said.
Rajshekar remembered how, in his first stint, he saw that the tele-apertors are trained for the victims of the scam in the states of Telugu. His monthly salary was 80,000 RS and is assigned code names such as “Roman”, “Smith” and “Jack”.
Second Stint: Job of Games
After returning to India, Rajashekar decided to return – this time with the promise of a legal job in Mae So, Thailand. He paid 50,000 RS to an agent, but was abandoned at the arrival in October 2024. He was blocked, Nagashiva contacted in Laos, who helped him reach KK Park 2 in Myawaddy.
“There are five to six scam centers in KK Park 2, where many Indians, including women, work volunteer,” he said. Rajashekar also works for such a company. While he had 150 employees, 80 refused to work, which led to protests and a rescue of the Indian embassy. Closed for two days, Rajashekar now refuses to return to India. His brother, Lat Shyamrao, also works in the SCAM Center.
The agent wins 3 l on recruitment
Like Rajashekar, Hitsh built a strong operation, running scams in Myanmar for two and a half years. He recruited 250-350 people, extending his company from 10 to 350 employees. Known as “HR Head” in the scam network, he drives a BMW and wins RS 3 Lakh on recruitment.
“I paid Rs 2 Lakh to Hitesh for a job, but when I was confronted with the scam, he said with confidence that no one can touch him,” said MV Patel, a victim saved from Kk Park . Another recruiter, hemant, known as “Wesley”, was also identified as a accomplice.
According to the victim Madhukar Reddy, Hitsh used WhatsApp and Telegram to attract candidates. Initially he works in Laos, he later moved to Myanmar.
