His height Shaikh Khalifa Bin Salman Bin Mohammed Al Khalifa, an undersecretary of the Ministry of Labor, chaired the periodic meeting of the Equal Opportunities, where efforts to improve the opportunities for supporting and advanced women in various fields of the ministry’s activity.

During the meeting, HH Shaikh Khalifa Bin Salman stressed that the committee continues to implement his initiatives and plans aimed at approaching the functional needs of women and increasing the awareness of their rights and responsibilities at work. He stressed that equality of opportunities is one of the principles that have contributed to improving the presence of Bahrain women in all labor market production sectors.

He also stressed that the committee continues to implement initiatives aimed at strengthening common national efforts to support the advancement of women in Bahrain and to meet their needs in development plans and programs. This includes intensifying the efforts to promote the principle of gender equality, strengthening the principles of competitiveness and correctness at work.
