Suspect of Triple Crime Hurungwe arrested -Nonewsday zimbabwe

Chundu, February 24 (Newsday Live) – a Hurungwe, Trymore Tore (37), was arrested.

Tore was finally arrested on Sunday, after almost a week to run, following the alleged crimes, on February 16, in the village of Mubairecheni, under the chief of Chundu in Hurungwe.

He was arrested in the rural area under the chief of Chundu, about 70 km north of the city of Karoi, while looking for food.

An alert villager has hosted him, promising that he would prepare some food for him, but then alerted his neighbors about his presence.

Seeing that he was corolved, Tore tried to slam his own neck.

He was overwhelmed, arrested and briefly admitted to the Chitindiva Clinic, under the police guard, Sunday night.

He will help the police with investigations before he is notified.

The first victim, who is the suspect’s wife, Moline Chibayanzara (21 years old), was found dead in a pit, with more wounds on her head.

Her body was wrapped in a blue blanket.

The second victim, a 17-year-old minor woman, who is the granddaughter of the suspect, was discovered about 60 meters from the suspect’s house with a swollen head and a cut on the forehead.

The body was covered with tree branches and a knife was recovered next to it.

The third victim, Kuwesu Masawu (53 years old), who was the village, was discovered buried in a superficial tomb behind the suspect’s house, with a beheaded head and a deep cut on the neck.

“The preliminary investigations of the police suggest that the suspect and his wife had constant disputes of domestic violence, which could have led to crimes,” police said.

“It is assumed that the suspect and his wife heard the request at their house on February 15, 2025.

“The third victim was last seen, going to mediate in a couple’s dispute, while the second victim was last seen going to the suspect’s house to watch movies on February 16, 2025.”
