Five days of action in the center of Bristol

A recent week of action in the center of Bristol saw the local neighborhood police team, supported by specialized teams, such as the road police unit and partner organizations, shopping targets and retail crime, crime and drugs activated by motorcycles. Patrols and engagement work also took place to keep people safe in a night.

The five days of action (Feb 12-16) led to:

  • 9 confiscated vehicles
  • 27 engagement visits to bars, clubs and pubs

ShopLifting and Retail Crime

Working in partnership with Bristol (BIDS) business enhancement districts, Street Services, Bristol Business Crime Reduce Partnership and Cabot Circus, Galleries and Broadmead Security teams, several well -known criminals have been arrested. Arrests were made under the suspicion of violations of the Criminal Behavioral Order (CBO) and criminal damages, as well as to be desired on the mandate. Also, an individual was arrested for being sought for recall in prison.

In addition to the application, extremely visible patrols took place in commercial areas, and owners and store managers were talking, offering crime prevention tips and reporting information.

Crimes activated with motorcycles

Special trained road officers helped the neighborhood police team to target motorcycle crime in the center of Bristol and around Bristol. Drug trafficking
