The man killed in shootings involved by officers in Kck

Wichita, Kan. (Kwch) – A man was killed in a shot involved by officer on Sunday morning in Kansas City, Kan.

According to the Kansas Investigation Bureau, Brian Hilt from Kansas City, Mo., damaged the property before entering a apartment building in block 700 in Nebraska Ave. from Kck, around 4 in the morning. Supervisory films showed that Hilt had a weapon.

Around 5:10, a firefighter responded to a fire alarm. When they saw the material damages, they asked for the answer to the police. A person living in the apartment complex called 911 shortly after reporting a disturbance involving a weapon.

Two officers met Hilt in a hall in the building. According to KBI, shootings were drawn after Hilt ignored the orders to throw his weapon. Hilt was hit by firearms and died on the spot. No officer was injured, and the investigation is ongoing.
