A former surgeon in France was accused of raping and sexually abused by almost 300 children, most of them being his patients. According to investigative documents, the doctor sexually abused both boys and girls when they were alone in their hospital rooms.

“I committed hateful acts,” Le Tăuarnec said at the Vannes court. “They were just children,” he added.
