Movies captured by spectators captures the moments a huge fire broke out through an abandoned bingo room Tamsy.

Emergency services ran to the former Bingo Astoria Hall on Clarendon Street in Hyde around 20.25 pm Monday (February 24). The crews used breathing appliances, hose tamberry and a drone to approach the fire while the terrified inhabitants watched.

Witnesses reported that they saw bricks flying in the street, while the fire passed through the room, which is empty since 2009.

Fire engines remain on the spot this morning to evaluate the damage and “monitor hot spots”.

Said a spokesman for the Greater Manchester (GMFRS) yarns service: “Monday (February 24) at 20.25, Monday (February 24), four fire engines from Hyde, Ashton, Stlybridge and Gorton fire stations plus the hydraulic platform in Oldham The fire station participated in a fire that involved an abandoned two -storey building on Clarendon Street, Hyde.
