Three arrested, accused of Omaha’s sex traffic bust

Omaha, Neb. (Wowt) – Omaha Police Department arrested three people with sex trafficking after a girl was identified as missing from Kansas after being arrested.

In a statement sent on Tuesday, the OPD says they were associated with internal security investigations (HSI), after a woman and a girl were arrested in November 2022 for shopping from a Walmart on South 72nd Street from Omaha.

According to the statement, an investigation found that the minor was reported missing from Kansas and that he was sitting in a hotel with the woman.

A search for the hotel room gave narcotics, cash and articles “in accordance with commercial sexual activity”, according to the statement.

OPD and Omaha HSI were united with Wichita and Wichita HSI police to identify and locate several suspects who were then interviewed for their involvement.

As a result of these interviews, three were arrested on charges of sex trafficking. In 2025, according to the statement, all three were convicted of these charges.

Alexas Davis, 24, was sentenced to 9 years in prison for conspiracy to engage in the sex traffic of a minor.

Joan Robinson, 35, was sentenced to 19.5 years in prison for the transport of a minor for prostitution.

Khalah Beard, 24, was sentenced to “a little over” 10 years in prison for conspiracy to engage in the sex traffic of a minor.
