Probably 7 Chinese nationals found guilty of trafficking in people to execute sentences in SA

Johannesburg – National Criminal Investigation (NPA) authority has said that seven Chinese nationals will be found guilty of human trafficking in Johannesburg to execute their sentences in South Africa.

The High Court of Johannesburg was pronounced on Tuesday the decision on Tuesday, citing the reliability of the state witnesses and the soundness of the police investigations.

The group was arrested after an operation led by Hawks related to the abduction, traffic and forced work of 91 relevant from Malawieni-37 of them children.

Of the 160 charges against them, the group was sentenced to 158.

By renouncing the judgment, the judge of the High Court David Mhango said the state had overwhelming evidence against the accused.

In favor of prosecution of the criminal prosecution, he revoked the bail of six of the accused, releasing one of health reasons, warning that some accusations had a possible life sentence.

The NPA spokesman, Phindi Mjonondwane, explained what this meant for their prison.

“Custody problems are confiscated with the Department of Correctional Services. The sentences are not related to the nationality – an accused person must fulfill their time before taking into account the deportation.”

Mjonondwane said that ANP will impose the hardest possible sentence at the Friday next week.
