The Status of Joel Embid remains in front of the 76ers-Knicks

A match between Philadelphia 76ers and New York Knicks will not include The Star Center Joel Embid on Wednesday at Madison Square Garden.

According to the official report of the NBA injury, Embid remains because of “managing knee lesions”. At this moment, EMBIID’s status for the rest of the season could be in the air, as Sixers consult with specialists to see if there is another way EMBIID could take on the road again.

Embid acknowledged that he did not feel like his dominant self last week after Sixers fell short against Boston Celtics. Throughout the season, the veteran’s knee retained after suffering surgery a year ago.

“The way I was playing a year ago is not the way I play now.” Embid acknowledged. “It’s shit. I probably have to solve the problem, and then I’ll be back at this level but it’s hard to trust when you aren’t yourself.”

Sixers have not excluded embid for a long time. Prior to the Monday match between Sixers and Chicago Bulls, Nick Nurse said that Sixers did not consider Embid’s closure for the rest of the season at this time.

Entering the action on Monday, Embid was listed as questionable about the initial injury report. Surprisingly, he was excluded a few hours before the two teams withdraw. Sixers did not waste any time by making an early call for Embid for Wednesday’s match against New York Knicks. The match will mark the second absence in a row.

This year, Embidid appeared in only 19 games. Throughout the season, All-Star seven times has recorded an average of 24 points, eight recovery and five assistants. He pulls 44 % of the land and 30 percent beyond the bow.
