The Sunderland man closed his partner bombed with threats

A man who bombed his former partner with threats, including statements that he would torture and “stamp” on her children, was closed.

Kim Forth, 39, removed the woman with violent and aggressive text messages and voice notes before returning to her house, Newcastle Crown Court heard.

He was arrested after he climbed on her chopron roof to try to access a window she had broken, the court heard.

Forth, from Sunderland was closed for a year and four months after admitting the sending of threatening communications, threatening criminal damages and harassment.

The Ian Mullarkey recorder said it is a “terrible episode of threatening and abusive behavior” that “terrorized” the woman.

Forth and the woman started a relationship in March 2023, which was “initially good”, but then “damaged,” said prosecutor Graham O’Sullivan.

She said that a roof at Moorsley Road from High Moorsley was “emotional and threatening” and seemed to be “excessively jealous”, the court heard.

After an argument on January 26, he spent that evening sending messages and vocal notes, said Mr. O’Sullivan.

Among the threats were the statements that he would torture the woman, put it in a coma, threw it on the windows and, if her children were trying to intervene, “stamp everywhere,” the court heard.

She called the police who participated in her house, with officers capable of monitoring their movements through the location services of the couple’s phone, the court said.

“Alarmingly, they could see that she is getting closer to her house,” said Mr. O’Sullivan.

When he arrived, he got on a shed for the apparent purpose of reaching a window of the bedroom he had previously broken, the court heard.

The police spoke and arrested him, but while he was driven, he was heard to say that the woman will “hide well” when she was released, said Mr. O’Sullivan.

In a statement read before the court, the woman said that Forth made her feel scared and mentally ill, adding that she was afraid of what she could do and just wanted to be “her old self”.

In mitigation, Sophie Allinson-Howells said the episode was devoid of character.

Also, a restriction order has been made that prohibits the woman for five years.
