Matthew Perry, who is best known for his role as Chandler in the TV show friendshipHe died due to accidental drowning in October 2023. Later, his autopsy report revealed that death was attributed to the “acute effects of ketamine”, drowning as the manner of his death. Ketamine is a dissociative anesthetic used medically for inducing and maintaining anesthesia. Ketamine is an antagonist of the NMDA receiver, which represents most of its psychoactive effects. It is also used as a treatment for depression and pain management.
