During a separate investigation from December 2023, deputies from Fremont County found evidence that Boyer sexually assaulted a child between 2020-2023.

When Boyer was interviewed in August 2024, he acknowledged in acts of sexual abuse, “including offenses against minors dating from the early 1980s,” a report shows.

He was arrested in September 2024 and accused of several crimes, including five charges of sexual abuse and five impulses of incest. He was held on an obligation of $ 150,000 only in cash.

Boyer declared himself guilty for two accusations of lascivious acts with a child as part of a plea agreement. He agreed with an “open conviction”, which, in Iowa, means that the court establishes the defendant’s punishment.

A lawyer has requested to be fulfilled in a row two prison terms of ten-year-old maximum allowed in accordance with Iowa legislation. Instead, Boyer was sentenced to two ten -year prison terms, which is at the same time. It also ordered to pay fines by adding up to US $ 2,740, the recordings show.

Both the conviction and the fines were later suspended, and Boyer was put in the test for two years. It must remain at a residential treatment center until the correction department finds that it has obtained a maximum benefit.

Also, the conviction asks them to register as a sexual offender, to undergo DNA profile and to complete a treatment program.
