The US General Prosecutor says some Epstein files set for release

ANKARA

The US General Lawyer, Pam Bondi, confirmed that her office is going to issue key documents related to sexual offender Jeffrey Epstein on Thursday, including flight journals and other critical records.

“There are over 200 victims – in fact more than 250,” Bondi said on Wednesday, in an interview with Fox News, explaining the delay.

“We must make sure that their identity is protected and their personal information, but, besides that, I think tomorrow, you will see that some Epstein information is launched by my office,” she said.

Asked what kind of records will be included, Bondi replied: “A lot of flight journals, a lot of names, a lot of information.”

She refused to confirm if any surveillance recording from Epstein’s residences, which was connected with registration devices, would be included.

Bondi described the details of the files as disturbing.

“He is quite ill what that man did, along with his co-insult,” she said, without specifying additional names.

The Epstein case remained a public control subject due to its extended network of strong connections and charges of human trafficking.

Epstein was arrested in 2019 under charges of federal sex traffic, but was found dead in the prison cell, a month later, in what the authorities led as suicide.

His associate for a long time, Ghislaine Maxwell, was later convicted of her role in the operation.
