The critical incident response team was called in im | News, sports, jobs

Iron Mountain – an iron mountain man who is forbidden to hold firearms and ammunition was arrested on Monday because he posted videos about himself on social networks with a large amount of ammunition.

The Iron Mountain Police Department was notified of a person living in block 500 in Seath Street, who posted several short videos with himself with ammunition, according to a press release from the police director and Iron Mountain Fire Services, Jeff Solka.

Filming showed what a backpack that contains mixed ammunition looked, including .22, 9mm caliber, 12 -caliber rifle shells and magazines loaded with caliber rifle .308 and .223.

The subject, identified as Cory Conn, 41 years old, showed his face in videos. Iron Mountain Police Department has previously met Conn, Solka said.

Conn was related to accusations related to the transport of a hidden weapon that took place in August 2024, according to the press release.

The critical incident response team was activated to safely execute a search warrant to minimize the risk for both the public and the law. Cirt is a specialized group trained to deal with high -risk situations and consists of officers from Mount Iron Police Department, Kingsford Public Safety, Norway Police Department and Dickinson County Sheriff.

Cirt successfully caught Conn outside his residence. A search raised ammunition seen in video materials.

Conn was notified at the Dickinson 95b Court of District Court for holding weapons and/or ammunition by a forbidden person, a crime with a sentence of up to five years in prison and/or a fine of $ 5,000.

Unrelated to this incident, Conn was also convicted of charges of a laser indicator on airplanes, while landing on Ford Airport on January 16 or around 16, an offense with a penalty of up to five years and a fine of $ 10,000.

The Iron Mountain Police Department was assisted by the Dickinson County Sheriff, Kingsford Public Safety and the Norway Police Department. The Iron Mountain Fire Department was notified and was waiting for emergency aid services.
