Andrew Tate and the brother allowed to leave Romania – DW – 27.02.2025

American influences American Andrew and Tristan Tate left Romania for the US after a travel prohibition was raised, the Romanian media reported on Thursday.

Dads were accused of human trafficking and formed a criminal tape to sexually exploit women.

Have denied all offenses.

Why did Romania have raised the restrictions on Tats?

The G4Media.ro news portal in Romania mentioned the sources of the airport saying that Tats left the Bucharest Airport on Thursday morning and left for Florida in a private plane.

Meanwhile, prosecutors have confirmed that the brothers were no longer obliged to stay in Romania.

“The request to modify the obligation not to leave Romania has been approved,” prosecutors said in a statement on Thursday.

The prosecutors stressed that “all the other obligations were maintained, including the requirement to check with the judicial authorities every time they are called.”

Prosecutors did not specify who made the request to lift the travel ban.

Last week, based in London Financial times Business Daily reported that American officials have called the Romanian government and asked for restrictions on the pair.

Last week, the Romanian Foreign Minister Emil Hurezeanu said that US Special Submit Richard Grenell brought the Tats on the Munich Security Conference earlier this month.

The father’s brothers repeatedly expressed the support of US President Donald Trump in the posts and videos on social networks.

Why are Andrew and Tristan Tate accused?

The tits were arrested near Bucharest at the end of 2022, together with two Romanian women.

All four are accused of setting up a criminal organization in early 2021 in Romania and the United Kingdom, which would have sexually exploited 34 women.

In August 2024, the Romanian police attacked several houses belonging to the brothers.

In July, the Bucharest Court of Appeal overturned a decision that allowed Tats to travel freely within the European Union.

In a separate case, a court in the UK decided in December last year that the British police can confiscate over 2 million pounds ($ 2.54 million, 2.42 million euros) from Tats and a woman identified as “J.” over charges of tax evasion.

The UK police described the pair as a “series” tax evaders, and a video was presented in court where Andrew Tate could be heard saying “when I lived in England, I refused to pay tax.”
