Israel delays the liberation of 46 prisoners after requesting the confirmation of the identities of four Israeli captives taught by the Palestinian resistance.

The Israeli occupation suspended the release of 46 female prisoners and children, who were to be released on Thursday morning, as part of the seventh lot in the first phase of the fire termination agreement in Gaza.

According to Al-Jazeera, the release of these prisoners was waiting until the Israeli occupation confirmed the identities of four Israeli captives taught by the Al-Qassam brigade.

On Thursday, at dawn, Israel released hundreds of Palestinian prisoners, distributed in the Westordan, Gaza Strip and Jerusalem, in exchange for the Qassam brigades who teach four Israeli captives to the Red Cross.

The coffins of the four bodies were transported to the Institute of Legal Medicine in the Abu Kabir neighborhood in Tel Aviv for identification.

The Israeli Prime Minister’s office confirmed that the bodies have now arrived in Israel, with initial tests performed at the subsequent passing and undergoing exams at the Institute of Legal Medicine to determine the identities and causes of death.

The Palestinian resistance in the Gaza band taught the bodies of four Israeli captives at the International Red Cross, which transferred it to the Israeli side to Kerem Abu Salem who crosses Thursday morning.

At the same time, a public reception took place in the center of Ramallah for the first batch of Palestinian detainees issued, as part of the seventh exchange agreement.

Meanwhile, the Israeli Broadcasting Authority (KAN) reported that there were discussions between the United States and Israel to expand the first phase of the fire termination for several weeks.

The teaching of the corpses of the four Israeli prisoners of Khan Younis, Southern Gaza, took place without ceremonies and away from the media.

Abu Obeida, the spokesman of Al-Qassam brigades, the Hamas military wing, announced on Wednesday that it was decided to surrender the four bodies.
