A Lancaster man has been sentenced to seven to 25 years in prison, after sexually abusing a child for years, authorities said.

Ivan Maldonado Jr., 36 years old, did not plead any competition between February 13 – almost 20 accusations, including the rape of a child, illegal contact with a minor, involuntary sexual sexual sex with a child and other accusations, according to the Lancaster County District Office.

The pleading without challenge means that it does not recognize the guilt, but it recognizes that there is sufficient evidence to condemn it.

Lancaster police started investigating after the victim reported abuse, which began when he was about 6 years old.

It happened on “numerous separate occasions” at two Lancaster residences between August 2007 and March 2012, according to DA.

Maldonado is located in the Lancaster county prison in May 2022, instead of a $ 250,000 bail.
