The Birmingham teenage suspect shot during the affected robbery who killed his father, the police confessed

A teenager accused of the death of a 26-year-old man on a street in southwestern Birminghamham, in September, planned to plunder the victim, according to the main detective of the case.

Deionya Saki Harley, 19, is accused of capital crime in death by shooting of Isaiah Tyson Anthony, who expected his first child in the coming months.

Anthony was found fatally shot, face down on Avenue Laure, his pockets turned inside, said Birmingham Homucide Det. Jarvelius Tolliver during the testimony in Harley’s preliminary hearing in front of the judge of Jefferson County, William Bell.

The detective said that investigators recovered between 30 and 40 shell housings from the scene.

Harley was also shot during Anthony’s murder, suffered by surgery for a wound shot in the stomach.

When the hearing ended, Bell decided that there is sufficient evidence against Harley to send a big jury to examine the indictment.

The deputy district of Jefferson County, Charissa Henrich, follows the case.

Harley, Birmingham, is located in Jepharson County prison since February 2, under charges unrelated to attempted murder and robbery.

He is represented in the case of the capital by lawyers Joseph Page and Charles Black from the public defender of Jefferson County.

Deadly shootings happened around September 17 outside a house in 1716 Laurel Ave.

Tolliver was the only witness on Thursday’s meeting and said Anthony had left the house to visit with others there.

When the police arrived at the scene, Anthony’s car was still running and there was a 1 dollar bill outside the vehicle.

The investigators established that the shooting started on the alley. Dozens of shell housings, as well as blood, left a path to the street where Anthony was found.

In addition to several wounds by shooting, said Tolliver, the victim suffered other wounds.

“He had scraps and bruises as if he had run and fell,” the detective confessed.

Once on the spot, the police found out and a second person was shot and taken to the hospital. That person has proven to be Harley, Tolliver said.

The man who led Harley to the hospital initially told the police that the injured suspect reported it, but later admitted he was at the firing place.

“He said he heard shootings and saw Harley with a weapon in his hand,” Tolliver confessed.

The detectives went to the hospital to talk to Harley the next day, but they couldn’t find it. Tolliver’s testimony did not indicate whether Harley was hospitalized under an alias name and continued his efforts to locate.

Earlier this month, they learned that Harley was in the Jepharson County prison, underneath and went to interview him.

During Harley’s interview, Tolliver said, he acknowledged that there was a plan to plunder Anthony.

“He said that when he went behind Mr. Anthony with a weapon, Mr. Anthony suddenly turned and turned his hand, threw his weapon and then took over his own firearm and shot Mr. Harley in the stomach,” Tolliver said.

Harley told the detectives after being shot, turned the fire to Anthony and then took a walk to the hospital.

The testimony did not indicate if something was taken from Anthony. The two men met each other, but they were not close associates, said Tolliver.

The autopsy showed, the detective said that at least one of the wounds shot by Anthony was at a close distance. “There was a lot of soot and rifle powder on his (Anthony) shirt,” said Tolliver,

The house in which the shooting took place, said Tolliver, was equipped with a video surveillance system, but did not record at that time. “I don’t know why,” he said.

During the question of Harley’s lawyers, Tolliver said that several different weapons were fired during the incident. A search warrant of the house raised several weapons and a weapon magazine was found on the hood of a parked car.

Tolliver said that there are nine or 10 people at that after -after -after -after -after -after -after -after -after -after -after -after -after -after -after -after -after -after -after -after -after -after -after -after -after -after -after -after -after -after -after -after -after -after -after -after -after -after -after -after -after -after -after -after -after -after -after -after -after -after -after -after -after. “It is difficult to make witnesses to come to come,” Tolliver said.

Page claimed that there is not enough probable cause to support the accusation of capital murder against Harley.

“Several individuals were present on the spot, several weapons were dismissed, Mr. Harley did not fire until he was fired first,” Page said. “He told the officers in his interview that there was another party that would have lured Mr. Anthony on the spot.”

The prosecutor did not agree, citing the evidence that showed that the robbery was planned and that Anthony was found with the pockets transformed inside.

Harley remains in touch in the county prison.
