Beck Bendichich, a bartender at Holy Hound Taproom, described the event as a unifying moment for the community.

“Everyone who went out were very pleased to be here in support of the family,” Onderich said. “It was a very tragic day and it was great to see the community coming out and participating in fundraising.”

Taproom dedicated sales from three of his 30 rotation drinks to be donated to the family of late officers. The counted beers 9, 1 and 11, were selected for fundraising, symbolizing the emergency number in honor of the fallen officer.

“It is indeed invigorating to see the community to meet,” said Ondernich. “I think we can all agree that the state of the whole world can be a little messy and as tragic as they are, we see that the community meets.”

The event raised about $ 1,200 and additional $ 250 from direct funds, as donations continue to flow throughout the week.
