Felon on conditions of freedom conditioned with new charges

Trinity – a man accused of stole the supervisors of conditioned freedom in Davidson County is accused of entering an elementary school in Randolph county and fought with sheriff’s deputies, said the Sheriff’s office in Randolph county.

The deputies were sent to the Hopewell Elementary on Wednesday in the Trinity area after the school reported the violation.

The deputies watched lead and made the adjacent neighborhoods, but did not find anyone to match the man’s description.

Later in the day, the deputies identified him as Neal Allen Mcmann, 36 years old, who was sought in Davidson County, under the charge of the password violation, said the sheriff’s office. He was in the trial for a 2022 conviction for aggression with a deadly weapon, which caused serious injury and theft of offense, according to the Department of Adult Correction in the NC.

Shortly after 11 pm, the deputies saw a man walking in the Meadowbrook Drive area, which matched McMann’s description, said the sheriff’s office. Initially, he denied the deputies that he was McMann.

While the deputies tried to handcuff him, McMann fought with them, said the sheriff’s office. After a short fight, he was detained. During a subsequent search, methamphetamine and parafernal of the drug were found.

McMann was accused of holding methamphetamine offenses, holding drugs of drugs and offenses that resisted a public officer. He was also served with the mandate of probation violation.

On Thursday, McMann was also accused of first -degree and grade -grade offenses and to break or get in touch with Hopewell.

He was withheld without any affordable connection waiting for a preliminary hearing.

The schools in Randolph county issued an official notification except McMann from any properties belonging to the county school system.
