On Wednesday, the police arrested an 18 -year -old man after saying he sexually assaulted a woman on a Raleigh route.

According to judicial documents, Powell jacari jacket jackets on a female runner on Lake Lynn Trail and made a traction gesture. Another woman said she was assaulted by Powell a few minutes earlier.

Katie Disilva says she walked the dog around 4:00 pm on Wednesday, when she met Powell, just 30 minutes before being assaulted on the other victim.

“I heard the steps that were approaching right behind me and I turned quickly. I saw it on this guy a few belts from me, with his arm raised in the air as if to hit me, “said Disilva. “So I dressed because I thought I was about to hit myself and started to scream.

“I said,” Lord, what with you? “And he didn’t answer. He looked at me with the dead face. “

Disilva said he screamed until Powell fled. Once left, he took a photo with him from behind and posted it online.

“I received a lot of answers almost instantly from other women who told me the same, almost the same story about the things he did, followed them, wept,” said Disilva.

After Disilva submitted a police report, he learned that Powell was arrested for assaulting another woman on the same day and on the same route.

The police accused Powell with a sexual battery, but Disilva told Wral for not knowing when he would feel safe enough to visit the route again.
