“You don’t know it’s there you can’t smell it, you can’t taste it, you can’t see it,” Haller said.

Some symptoms of carbon monoxide intoxication include dizziness, headaches, chest pain, shortness of breath, muscle pain and more. Haller said it is important to open the windows and escape as soon as possible before it is too late.

If you burn any kind of fuel such as natural gas carbon monoxide is a burning by -air product and is released in the air when you burn something, “he said. “So, if you have a gas stove, if you have a hot gas heater or a gas oven, there is a risk of being generated and entering the living space.”

Haller urges anyone who lives in a house that uses natural gas to have a carbon monoxide detector, this way, if found in your home, the crews can be warned.

“We will be shipped to a carbon monoxide alarm, and our shipping plan is an engine and a staircase truck,” he said. “There are two United. Scale trucks carry these gas detectors where they can keep it in the air and see if there is carbon monoxide. “

It is advisable to test detectors every month and change them every 10 years. Haller said that doing this will ensure your safety.
